NEVADA - After Russia revoked their ratification of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the United States carried out a "subsurface chemical explosion" at the Nevada Security Site (NNSS) in order to improve the ability of the United States to detect low-yield nuclear explosions globally.
