MIDDLE EAST — Adm. Brad Cooper, in his initial regional engagements as commander of U.S. Central Command, met with senior Egyptian and Kuwaiti officials to reaffirm commitments to regional stability.

The discussions occurred amid ongoing multinational training efforts, including the observation of Bright Star 25 in Egypt. Concurrently, Qatar assumed command of Combined Task Force 152, with a focus on maritime security in the Arabian Gulf.
