US Citizen In Custody After Crossing Border Into North Korea

The American citizen crossed the border from South Korea into North Korea without having authorization.

SEOUL - According to the United Nations, an American citizen crossed the border from South Korea into North Korea without having authorization and has been taken into custody by North Korean authorities. 

The American citizen was touring a Korean border village when they crossed the border into North Korea. He is currently in custody.
