GLOBAL — The United States initiated procedures on November 24 (published in the federal register on November 28) to evaluate designating specific chapters of the Muslim Brotherhood as foreign terrorist organizations and specially designated global terrorists.
This action, directed by an executive order from President Donald J. Trump, involves assessments by the Secretary of State and the Secretary of the Treasury.
