RED SEA/YEMEN - U.S. forces destroyed two missile launchers in a Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen on May 28th. Additionally, on the same day, Houthis launched two anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen into the Red Sea.

No damages or injuries were reported by U.S., coalition, or commercial vessels in the region, according to U.S. Central Command.

On May 29th, U.S. forces "successfully destroyed" two uncrewed (unmanned) aerial systems (UAS) over the Red Sea launched from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen.

U.S. Central Command: "It was determined these missiles and systems presented an imminent threat to U.S., coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region".
