YEMEN - U.S. Central Command reports that over the last 24 hours U.S. forces destroyed 3 Houthi unmanned surface vessels (USVs) that it said presented an "imminent threat" to U.S. and coalition forces, as well as to merchant vessels navigating the region.

Additionally, U.S. Central Command reported that Houthi militants launched 3 anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) from a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen into the Gulf of Aden.

CENTCOM reports that there were no injuries or significant damages reported by U.S., coalition, or merchant vessels in the region at the time the attack occurred.

Central Command also reported that the Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (IKE CSG) is returning home and added that the recent claims about a successful attack on the Eisenhower are "categorically false".

Yemen’s military Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree, who is affiliated with the Houthi group claimed on Saturday it had successfully targeted the USS Eisenhower and hit it "directly" with several ballistic and cruise missiles.

The spokesperson also claimed that it targeted the Transworld Navigator vessel in the Arabian Sea with several ballistic missiles successfully.

USS Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group To Enter CENTCOM AOR

"Following completion of a scheduled exercise in the Indo-Pacific, the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) Carrier Strike Group will enter the CENTCOM Area of Responsibility," CENTCOM stated.
