U.S. Forces Conduct Airstrike Targeting ISIS-Somalia

In coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia, U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) conducted an airstrike against ISIS-Somalia on June 13, 2025.

SOMALIA — U.S. Africa Command has reported that it carried out an airstrike targeting ISIS-Somalia on June 13, 2025 southeast of Bossaso, Puntland, in Northeastern Somalia, alongside the Federal Government of Somalia, and the Somalian Armed Forces.
