YEMEN - US forces destroyed 1 Houthi missile system in a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen that U.S. Central Command determined to present a threat to U.S., Coalition forces, and merchant vessels navigating the region.
The Pentagon addressed holding Hamas accountable for the six hostages in Gaza murdered by Hamas, including 23-year-old U.S. citizen Hersh Goldberg-Polin.
It also spoke on U.S. forces in the U.S. Central Command partnering with Syrian Democratic Forces to capture Khaled Ahmed al-Dandal, an ISIS leader and facilitator who was assessed as helping ISIS fighters after he escaped from a detention facility in Raqqa, Syria.
Additionally, the Pentagon addressed the Houthi attack on two crude-oil tankers transiting the Red Sea with two ballistic missiles and a one-way attack unmanned aerial system, that hit both vessels.
