MIDDLE EAST — On October 2, U.S. Central Command forces conducted a strike in Idlib province. The operation resulted in the death of Muhammad Abd-al-Wahhab al-Ahmad. He served as a senior attack planner for Ansar al-Islam. This group maintains affiliation with Al-Qaeda.
