SOUTH AMERICA — On October 14, President Donald Trump announced a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel he described as affiliated with a designated terrorist organization conducting narco-trafficking in the U.S. Southern Command area of responsibility, located just off the Venezuelan coast.
According to Trump, intelligence confirmed the boat was transporting narcotics along a known route associated with illicit networks, resulting in the deaths of six males aboard during the operation in international waters.
