U.S. Southern Command Strikes Vessel in Caribbean Sea
Two male individuals aboard the vessel were killed. No U.S. military forces were harmed.
CARIBBEAN SEA — On May 4, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a strike on a vessel linked to groups the U.S. has designated as terrorist organizations involved in drug trafficking.
The strike was carried out at the direction of U.S. Southern Command commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan.
