Rapidly Expanding Hughes Fire Forces Thousands to Evacuate in California

CALIFORNIA - A new wildfire ignited 45 miles northwest of Los Angeles on Wednesday has expanded to 10,176 acres, with only 14% containment. The fire is impacting both Los Angeles and Ventura counties, leading to the mandatory evacuation of 31,000 people, while an additional 23,000 have been warned they might also need to evacuate.
