TAIZ — Yemeni Armed Forces reported that coalition airstrikes struck key Houthi positions at the abandoned Sofitel Hotel east of Taiz city, neutralizing a command-and-control center and destroying two tanks.
The site served as a heavily fortified command-and-control center used by the Houthi militia to launch attacks against the civilian population, and the action was taken in response to the Houthi Militia’s targeting of civilians, according to the Yemeni Armed Forces spokesperson.
