TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 15 Chinese military aircraft and 10 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on July 7th, 2024.

The number of military aircraft and naval vessels spotted today remains elevated with an increased number of naval forces seen around the island.

Yesterday, 30 Chinese military aircraft and 9 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island including fighter aircraft and drones, 23 of which entered Taiwan's southwestern and southeastern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).
