TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 22 Chinese military aircraft and 9 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on July 24th, 2024. Additionally 18 Chinese military aircraft and 8 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on July 23rd, 2024.
The number of military aircraft and naval forces spotted around the island continues to be greatly heightened and a daily occurrence. Taiwan also carried out day 3 of its Han Kuang 40 joint anti-landing exercise this morning.
