35 Chinese Military Aircraft, 3 Balloons, 7+ PLAN Vessels Spotted Around Taiwan February 5th, 2025

Initially 12 military aircraft, 3 balloons (at an elevation of 16,000 to 21,000 feet) and 7 PLAN vessels were spotted, then 23 more were detected later.

Recent Alerts In Asia

Initially, 12 military aircraft, 3 balloons (at an elevation of 16,000 to 21,000 feet), and 7 PLAN vessels were spotted. Eight of these crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered the island's southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ).

After this, 23 more Chinese military aircraft were detected, 19 of which crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait, entered the island's northern, central, eastern, and southwestern Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), and conducted air-sea joint training along with other PLAN vessels.
