TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 40 Chinese military aircraft, 9 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels and 1 official ship were spotted around the island of Taiwan on September 11th, 2024.

The number of military aircraft and naval forces spotted around the island of Taiwan remains greatly heightened.

Taiwanese President Lai Ching-te also visited the ROC pilot who ejected last night from his single-seat Mirage 2000 fighter jet before it crashed into the sea. The pilot, who the Taiwanese military named Captain Hsieh is in stable condition. The incident is currently being investigated.
