AFRICOM Strikes al-Shabaab Weapons Warehouse Southwest of Bosaso

On September 14, AFRICOM struck a site it identified as an al-Shabaab weapons and ammunition factory near Saacow in southern Somalia. On September 8 it struck al-Shabaab in the vicinity of Quumbi.

SOMALIA — U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) announced on September 18 that it struck a site it identified as an al-Shabaab conventional weapons storage warehouse in northern Somalia on September 17, in coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia.
