Chinese Military Activity Around Taiwan February 17h-18th, 2024
The same amount of Chinese forces were detected February 18th as was detected on February 17th. Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in response.
TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 7 Chinese military aircraft, one PRC balloon, and 5 PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on February 18th, 2024, and the same amount of aircraft, balloons and naval forces were spotted the day before as well.
Taiwan tasked CAP aircraft, Navy vessels, and land-based missile systems in order to respond to the Chinese activities around the island.
