PERSIAN GULF — On June 28, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy Command released a statement asserting dominance over the Strait of Hormuz.
Explosions were reported in Bahrain and Kuwait that day, with air sirens activated across Bahrain and Kuwait’s army stating it intercepted what it described as hostile missile and drone attacks.
Central Command (CENTCOM) stated it conducted strikes on Iranian military targets including surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defense sites, drone storage facilities, and mine-layer capabilities near the Strait of Hormuz.
