NATO Italian Fighter Jets Destroy Drone Over Lithuania After Entry From Belarus

Lithuanian Armed Forces said a drone moving toward Lithuania was observed around midnight local time and destroyed by Italian fighter jets.

LITHUANIA — Italian fighter aircraft flying the NATO Air Defense Mission from Siauliai Air Base destroyed a drone over central Lithuania shortly after midnight on September 15, Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda, the Lithuanian Ministry of Defense, and the National Crisis Management Center said.
