NORTH AMERICA — Russian military aircraft have conducted operations in the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) during the last week, including one on Sunday, prompting intercepts by North American Aerospace Defense Command forces on three occasions.
These incidents involved surveillance aircraft remaining in international airspace, with no entries into American or Canadian sovereign territory reported.
