BEDMINSTER, N.J. — On July 5, 2025, a general aviation aircraft entered restricted airspace over Bedminster, New Jersey, breaching a Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR). NORAD fighter aircraft responded by intercepting the civilian aircraft with a headbutt maneuver—a tactical approach where a fighter jet positions itself close to the violating aircraft to signal the pilot to alter course.
