North Korea Launches Multiple Cruise Missiles Off West Coast, Says It's Building A Nuclear Submarine
North Korean state media spoke of building of a nuclear-powered submarine and other new-type warships and that it tested a submarine launched cruise missile.
SEOUL - The South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) has reported that North Korea launched multiple cruise missiles off of the North's west coast Tuesday at 7 in the morning, but did not say exactly how many missiles it had launched.
The JCS statement said, "While strengthening our monitoring and vigilance, our military has been closely coordinating with the United States to monitor additional signs of North Korea's provocations".
