NORWEGIAN SEA — According to the British Ministry of Defense statement released on July 6, On July 2 a Russian Tu-142 Bear-F maritime patrol aircraft repeatedly approached the UK Carrier Strike Group led by HMS Prince of Wales in the Norwegian Sea while the group operated under Operation FIRECREST (UK Carrier Strike Group deployment).
