SOMALIA — The Somali National Armed Forces conducted targeted operations in the Bakool and Bay regions, resulting in the neutralization of several Al-Shabaab commanders and militants.
These efforts aimed to disrupt terrorist operations and enhance security for civilian populations. In an engagement near Xudur, forces eliminated a senior commander involved in regional attacks.
Another operation southeast of Burjeet led to the deaths of two prominent operatives. The Ministry of Defense emphasized the commitment of national forces to upholding stability.
