Horn of Africa — On November 3, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations reported an incident involving four unauthorized persons who attempted to board a vessel. The small craft originated from a mother vessel located to the east of the targeted ship.

Government assessments indicate that successful or attempted boardings have been reported up to 1,000 nautical miles from the Somali coast in recent months
