A merchant vessel reported a small blue and yellow craft with 4 people aboard approaching the vessel on the port side. It added that the merchant vessel carried out "self-protection measures" at which point the small craft stopped its pursuit and left the area.

The vessel and its crew are reported to be safe, and the ship is continuing on to its next port of call, according to the report, which added that authorities are investigating the incident and advised vessels in the region to transit with caution and report any suspicious activity.
