ARABIAN SEA REGION — A tanker captain reported a suspicious approach by multiple vessels approximately 500 nautical miles east of Mogadishu on 28 April while the vessel transited south through the Indian Ocean.
In a separate development, U.S. Central Command stated that the number of vessels at the Iranian port of Chah Bahar has increased from an average of five per day before the U.S. blockade on Iran to more than 20 vessels currently present as enforcement measures restrict trade.
