US Destroys 3 UAS Over Red Sea After Houthis Launched 1 UAS Over Gulf Of Aden From Yemen
U.S. Central Command reported that there were no injuries are damages reported as a result of the attack or UAS interceptions
YEMEN - After the Houthis launched one uncrewed aerial system (UAS) over the Gulf of Aden from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, the United States "successfully destroyed" three UAS launched by Houthi from Yemen.
U.S. Central Command reported that there were no injuries are damages reported as a result of the attack or UAS interceptions by U.S., Coalition or merchant vessels in the region at the time it occurred.
The statement by U.S. Central Command said, "It was determined that these UAS presented an imminent threat to both coalition forces and merchant vessels in the region".
