One Houthi drone was destroyed by U.S. forces over the Gulf of Aden, near Yemen, while another three Houthi drones were destroyed over the Red Sea after being launched from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, according to U.S. Central Command.

"It was determined these systems presented an imminent threat to U.S., coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region," the Central Command statement said.
