EASTERN PACIFIC — U.S. forces executed three kinetic strikes on four vessels suspected of narcotics trafficking by designated terrorist organizations on October 28. These operations occurred in international waters approximately 400 miles southwest of Acapulco, Mexico.
The actions resulted in the deaths of 14 individuals identified as narco-terrorists, with one survivor rescued through coordinated efforts.
The Mexican Navy deployed an ocean patrol vessel and maritime patrol aircraft for the search and rescue operation following a request from the United States Coast Guard. No United States personnel reported injuries during the strikes.
