US Precision Airstrike Kills Senior Operative Of Al-Qaeda Affiliate Terror Group

SYRIA - U.S. forces carried out a precision airstrike in Northwestern Syria targeting and killing a senior operative of the Hurras al-Din Al-Qaeda affiliate terror group on January 30th, 2025.
The airstrike targeted Muhammad Salah al-Za'bir, who was a senior operative in the terrorist organization Hurras al-Din (HaD).
An airstrike carried out on August 23rd, 2024 also killed Hurras al-Din senior leader Abu-’Abd al-Rahman al-Makki in a targeted kinetic strike in Syria, who was a Hurras al-Din Shura Council member and senior leader responsible for overseeing terrorist operations from Syria.
