YEMEN/RED SEA - On June 6th U.S. and coalition forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 11 Houthi Unmanned Surface Vessels (USV Drones) and 1 Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV drone) launched from Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen into the Red Sea.

Additionally, an anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) was launched from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen over the Red Sea.

U.S. Central Command said there were no damages or injuries reported by U.S., coalition, or commercial vessels in the region as a result of the attacks.

In addition, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported an incident 27 nautical miles south of Al Mukha, Yemen where two explosions were reported near a vessel navigating the region.

Authorities are investigating the incident but there were no damages or injuries reported as a result of the explosion, all crew members are reported to be safe and the vessel is proceeding to its next port of call.
