TAIPEI - According to Taiwan's Ministry of Defense 72 Chinese military aircraft and 8+ PLA Navy (PLAN) vessels were spotted around the island of Taiwan on July 10th, 2024.
The number of military aircraft spotted is greatly heightened today as China conducts military exercises around the island.
Initially, 35 Chinese military aircraft and 8 PLAN vessels were spotted around the island. Later 37 additional military aircraft were spotted as Taiwan's MOD reported Chinese air and naval forces carrying out military exercises with the PLAN Shandong aircraft carrier.
