MIDDLE EAST — On July 19, 2025, a missile launched from Yemen toward Israeli territory prompted sirens in several areas, with the projectile intercepted by the Israeli Air Force. In response, on July 21, 2025, the Israeli Defense Forces conducted strikes on military targets belonging to the Houthis at the Hudaydah port.

These actions dismantled infrastructure used by the Houthis to advance terrorist activities against Israel and its allies. The strikes targeted engineering vehicles, fuel containers, naval vessels, and Iranian-smuggled weapons, disrupting the transfer of arms from Iran intended for attacks on Israel and its allies.

Interception of Houthi Missile

Analysis indicates that the Israeli Defense Forces identified the continuous efforts to reestablish terrorist infrastructure at the port, leading to targeted strikes. The missile launch from Yemen was intercepted, according to the Israeli military, preventing potential damage.

Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol in several areas in Israel a short while ago, as detailed in official reports. The public was requested to follow the Home Front Command's defensive guidelines.
