North Korea Launches 10 Rockets 1 Day After US, South Korea Held Joint Exercises, First Since New President Elected
South Korean media cited the country's military as speculating that the North might have mobilized 240mm rockets for training exercises.
SEOUL — North Korea has launched 10 rockets just one day after the United States and South Korea held their first joint air exercise since South Korea's new President was elected earlier this month.
The joint air exercises between the U.S. and South Korea included:
2 South Korean "F-15K" fighter jets
6 U.S. F-16 fighter jets
2 Japanese "F-2" fighter jets
