Additionally, U.S. forces "successfully engaged" 2 Houthi anti-ship ballistic missiles (ASBMs) that were fired in the direction of the USS Gravely Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer.

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) also reported an explosion 48 nautical miles southwest of Al Hudaydah, Yemen a "significant distance" from a vessel navigating the region. It added that the vessel's crew are safe and the ship is proceeding to its next port of call.
