NORAD Intercepts Violator of Temporary Flight Restriction Over Bedminster, New Jersey

UNITED STATES — On August 2, 2025, North American Aerospace Defense Command fighter aircraft intercepted a general aviation aircraft that violated a temporary flight restriction airspace over Bedminster, New Jersey.
The interception occurred at approximately 1 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The civilian aircraft was safely escorted out of the restricted area by NORAD aircraft. General aviation pilots are reminded to verify all Federal Aviation Administration Notices to Airmen and fly informed before every flight.
The unauthorized incursion was preceded by two separate temporary flight restriction violations earlier in the day, resulting in a total of three violations. In this specific instance, the aircraft was escorted out of the area without further incident.
