U.S. Coast Guard Assists Bahamas Search After Aircraft Lost Off Andros

The Coast Guard said an HC-144 Ocean Sentry, a medium-range maritime patrol airplane, is supporting the search and that the case remained open.

BAHAMAS — On Monday, September 7, the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast District said it was assisting the Royal Bahamas Defence Force after a report of a downed aircraft with four people aboard about 15 miles (24 kilometers) off Andros Island.
